                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, THE CITY
                   FINANCE OFFICER, AND THE ADMINISTRATOR OF
                   THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES TO
                   EXECUTE ANY AND ALL CLOSING DOCUMENTS
                   RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN
                   PROPERTY, IDENTIFIED AS STATE TAX MAP NUMBER
                   155N-F-002, FOR THE SITE OF THE SOUTH
                   CHATTANOOGA BRANCH LIBRARY TO BE JOINTLY
                   OWNED BY THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA AND
                   HAMILTON COUNTY.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor, the City Finance Officer, 

       and the Administrator of the Department of General Services be 
and
       are hereby authorized to execute any and all closing documents
       relative to the purchase of certain property, identified as State 

       Tax Map Number 155N-F-002, for the site of the South Chattanooga
       Branch Library, to be jointly owned by the City of Chattanooga 
and
       Hamilton County.
